Believing in God and Jesus basically means...you love everyone as you love yourself, because we all come from the same source..God. So, if we come from the same source, what's good for someone else is good for us. And what's bad for someone is also bad for us. It's living free of jealously, with a smile and a helping hand for anyone who needs it. You're self-less, forget material things, live on the basic necessities.
It's supposed to feel good, to live in order to make others lives easier. They say when you're depressed, do someone a favour.
