I get so anxious when I look up programs I'm interested in. There are so many schools and so many options and I just get overwhelmed and start to have a panic/anxiety attack. And then I start to worry about how if this is how I feel just looking up the programs online, how would I feel if I were actually going to school? How would people react to that? And I'm just plain terrified! I don't know how to manage it and I'm wondering if anyone has any advice or has been through the same thing? |

I don't think there's any way around it. You just have to deal with it and think about the long-term goal you hope from going to school. Just make sure it's something that you know will have good job opportunities when you graduate. Nothing sucks more than getting a degree in something that doesn't help your job search. Although, even that's better than no degree at all.
