Default making a big deal out of everything

Do you make a big deal out of everything? I do and I always have..people are always laughing and telling me 'its not that big of a deal'. But I still think it is. I am trying to be a better judge about what is worth panicking over and what is no big deal.

I'd say I do seem to make a bigger deal about things than most people.. I guess it's related to my perfectionist issue.. I hate using the word "perfectionist" though, it makes it sound like I'm actually able to succeed in making something perfect, which is totally not true, haha. It's just the whole thing I guess with being so aware of everything and all the details, I don't know..

Yep, I do too. I think its an SA thing, many of us SA people tend to over-analyse things and make small issues seem like big ones.

I tend to blow things out of proportion, over-react, make a big deal... however you want to say it. I've done that all my life. I can even remember my Mom and Dad telling me that I did this as a child.

I do. I can't handle situations on the fly at all, so I freak out, even if its minor.

I make a big deal out of things. It seems that I do over analyze everything.

I agree with the whole perfectionist thing..I feel like I am a perfectionsist in the sense that I want everything to go smoothly and be "perfect" but I usually am not capable of meeting that expectation
