Ladies, what do you find attractive in guys? Men same question about ladies?

Ladies, what do you find attractive in guys?
Men, what do you find attractive in women?

The answers are pretty obvious, but I'm having flashbacks from a speech class back in college (freaking 10 years ago). I guess I just want to know if people will give the same answers that were given back then. My answer in that class was "personality", but I was the only guy that gave that answer. Literally every guy aside from myself said "looks". Perhaps I wanted to be the oddball. Every girl said "confidence".

So what is it for you? Maybe be specific as possible, thanks.

You know, what I really find attractive is a man who can take care of himself.

I like a nice face, intelligence and for them to be kind.

I agree with Memoir. A man should be responsible and able to take care of himself. It should be the same with women as well.

I'm drawn to people who are always positive and see the humour in everything. People who constantly complain or point out the negative in everything are such a put off. I also like people who are easy going and easy to talk to...unflappable people who let everything roll off them.

And of course and strong inner child is always fun.

She has to be hot. So hot that when I touch her, I need hospital treatment.

If this requirement is met (and I'd better be calling an ambulance), then I can adjust on personality.

Must be compassionate to others.....you can tell a lot about a person by the way they treat others.

Intelligent, thoughtful, modest. Those fit all three of the main crushes I've had in my life. The ones that really ruined me.

I'm not exactly a catch, so I don't have any standards in qualities I'd want in a man.
That's scary to me, I genuinely believe that I'm vunerable to abuse, and that if I was in an abusive relationship, or merely a dysfunctional one, I most likely wouldn't leave, because I don't think I could achieve anything better.

Other than that, yep. I guess I'd want him to be kind to me. That's about it.
