I don’t think that’s so strange. I’m actually surprised no other girls have replied to this post, I must be the only female weirdo. Ok well I’m 22 and my first real kiss was at 19 in college, pretty pathetic but whatever. I realize now it wasn’t such a big deal…yes it was humiliating to admit to the guy, but he was really sweet and understanding of the whole thing.

I don't really mind either at the moment, mainly because I have more important things to worry about.

I am much more comfortable around women these days though, so maybe it'll happen soon if I make some effort.

Some people might genuinely not be very interested in kissing/sex though. I think I am borderline asexual when it comes to my lack of desire for physical relationships, and it can be upsetting when people claim the only reason you are the way you are is because you haven't had the experience yet.

It's similiar to suggesting to a lesbian that the only reason she's a lesbian is because she hasn't been with a man.

Obviously, you didn't mean any harm, and I'm not criticizing you at all. I'm just explaining that for some people (such as myself, currently at least), kissing and/or sex is just not a very interesting concept. I'm personally not repulsed, but I'm just genuinely not interested.

I got my first kiss when I was 15 or 16, I can't remember. It was with my first and only girlfriend, but it was cool. She stayed at my house for a few days and all we did was mack it and grope each other. Good times. Now I got my sights on getting laid... it'll never happen. lol

The only time I kissed a girl was when I was 14 (18 now). We were all at a party and this girl who liked me was there. My friends, knowing I've never kissed before, all egged me on and we eventually made out in the bathroom for 2 minutes. After that we were boyfriend and girlfriend, but she lived downtown and I lived in the suburbs so we couldn't see each other. Also, I don't like talking on the phone so we basically just "dated" online by talking on AIM for a week before she said "we never see each other and you never call, I feel like we're not even going out". Then I just told her it would be best if we just broke up. Since then it's been down hill with girls and people in general.

I also have Schizoid personality disorder. I don't really like being/talking with people in general so no one even takes interest in me since I never talk and can't carry on a conversation.

Funny thing is though, is that I'm not even remotely close to being asexual or anything...Kissing is just the last thing I'd be compelled to do if I had a willing partner.

reading this thread really puts my perspective in its rightful place. i thought my sa was bad but i realize im quite lucky. ive had two proper kisses, one at 14, the other at 16. i never had an actual relationship though which is what i want now. ironic isnt it.

I had a female friend in college who told me she wanted to "teach" me to kiss while we were hanging out in my dorm room. I turned down the offer politely, saying how that might be helpful if I had to learn in the immediate future, but that I had no dates/prospects in sight.
