Default I found a cool "famous loners" website...

Here, it's about famous loners and anti-social people. I thought it might be comforting or at least interesting for most of you.

Thanks for the link. Some interesting names and blurbs in there.

Terry Bradshaw is another one that comes to mind. I used to hate him as a broadcaster (kind of loud and brash), but grew to like him after learning of his battle with anxiety and depression.

I didn't think David Letterman was shy. I know he went on Howard Stern a lot and he has a lot of dark humor.

I don't think they needed to include Norman Bates.

Barry Bonds is probably one of the most famous "antisocial" people right now. Even when he played in Pittsburgh, it was incredibly difficult to convince him to talk to the media after games.

The text on that page is hard to read because a lot of it's written over other text. Anyone have any suggestions?

Got this also. Decrease the text size and it fixes it. (View->Text Size in IE/firefox)

I hate the fact that this is on a site called "The Antisocial Club." Just what we need, more reinforcement of the stereotype that being an introvert/loner = sociopath.

That's exactly what i was thinking. I don't care for the term "antisocial" to describe those of us who are shy or have SA. I'm not antisocial at all, and anyone who thinks social anxiety=antisocial doesn't get it.

One very famous (and hot) loner is Megan Fox.

The most famous SA person that I can think of is Royals Cy Young winning pitcher Zack Greinke. He has now overcomed it though. Great guy - he seems like.

I didn't get on the link but I agree with some of the earlier posts, I love people, I'm nice to people I like. Most people I'm indifferent too tho and don't make eye contact with. It's just S.A, I'm not at all shy.
