Aquaintance= Someone who you only talk to at school/work
Friend= Someone who you actually do stuff outside of school/work with Thats my opinion. I have about 8 aquaintances and 8 friends. All in real life.

Lots.
I've been switched to so many different groups in the last 5 months that I feel like whenever I go into the dining room, I see 5 or 6 people I know. And I almost always see people I know waiting in line for food, walking to and from class, doing my laundry, etc.

This is hard to add up! An acquaintance...someone you just talk to sometimes (like online maybe just a random chat) or know of but they aren't exactly a friend which is someone who you can talk to a lot and do things with, someone who knows you and understands, someone you feel a connection with etc. That's the best I can do at explaining lol
