Default Haven't had any sleep, how can i help to keep myself alert in the day?

It is 5am and i am not tired at all. There is no point me trying to sleep, because i always wake up at 6am anyways because i have college today. Just so i don't fall asleep in class, is there anything that i can eat/drink in the day which will keep me alert? I am getting my hair cut at 6pm aswell, so i'm gonna be really tired all day.

I'd say caffeine of some sort. It might increase your anxiety, but should at least keep you alert long enough to get through class and a haircut. I'd suggest trying to exercise to tire yourself, so you can sleep better. It will also give you more energy over all.

If you aren't taking any meds, you can take "No Doze" I believe its called. You should be able to find it at a Wawa or similiar store. I use to take them when I felt really sleepy, and it helped me get through the night.

Some exercise might do the trick as well. Try to keep those eyes open!

Lots of caffeine and lots of water. Being dehydrated can make you even more tired, plus caffeine's a diuretic.

Cup of coffee before school, eat lunch (and have another cup of coffee if you need it), and maybe have an energy drink later in the afternoon.

For your lunch and random snackings, try to eat at least one fruit or veggie. It helps calm down the effects of the caffeine and gives you more sustained energy.
