Default Do you get SA with close friends?

I still get SA with close friends...albeit milder but still present and usually prevents me from having much fun.

I don't, but that's only because for me a close friend by definition is a friend I don't experience any anxiety, apprehension, or discomfort around. I only have one or two friends like that. Most other friends I've had I've tended to fall out of touch with, because I haven't felt completely comfortable around them for one reason or another.

When I'm around "close family" or my bestest friends or girlfriend My SA goes away COMPLETELY. I am a complete fool, joking around and having a good time. This is why I have hope for me overcoming this, because when I'm with my friends and lets say they have one of their friends around who i don't know I'm able to function somewhat normally.

Anyone I'm close to, I don't get much or any anxiety. They know who I am, how I am, and everything about me and they still accept me, mostly, so they really don't make me anxious.
People have told me I'm completely different when around people I know well.

I'm still a little quiet, but it doesn't bother me like it would if I was with people I hardly knew.
