Default Do you ever start making a new thread and then change your mind

I do this sometimes. Ill think of new ideas and then i'll start making a new thread, then halfway through typing im like "this is kinda stupid" and just change my mind. I do that sometimes with posting in general as well. Is this due to sa?

yeah, and I tend to write long *** posts/threads so if I still have not finished writing by the time that I've written a million paragraphs, then I just cancel it

I think of new threads to post but I sit there thinking about whether or not I should do it for so long that I never end up posting anything. This happens with just posts as well.

I do this sometimes. Some things I want to post, but then get the idea that people will have a bad reaction to it, so I end up deleting what I wrote sometimes. And yes, I think a lot of it has to do with SA, if you're concerned how it will be perceived by others.

For me it's replying to threads. I'll get to the point of posting then, for a variety of reasons related to my SA, just delete my post instead.

I do this with thread replies, with some frequency.

Starting new threads is a practice my SA is generally not agreeable to. So, I don't change my mind because I don't even start to begin with

(I just looked - out of 2,571 posts, only eight of them are thread starters.)

I do it with making threads or posting in them.

I've started a couple and they just don't get anywhere. What's strange is that I've seen waaaaaaaaaay lamer threads really hit the ground running. Now I'm not so inclined to start any more.

Same. Except I learnt that on another forum.

I'm also scared to post replies or start a new thread...its like in the real world with SA I'd rather say nothing in case people dislike me or what I say.

Yeah, both for making new threads and posts.
I would type something but then decide not to click the "submit" button.

All the time, my post count would be double by now if I didn't - also after making a new post I will delete it!

I'm usually afraid to post anything here. Even in the chat, I worry I'll become a thread/chat killer.
