I bought an e-cig with CBD oil in it online the other day. It should be here by tomorrow. I'm pretty excited to try it, but I do have doubt. I've tried so many things and I'm afraid that this isn't going to work either. I deal with severe depression, SA, depersonalization disorder, and muscle tension/pain. Has CBD worked for you? Thanks.
My first thought is that it might be a good idea to be careful with it (if there is THC in the kind you bought) because of your depersonalisation. Either way I would suggest slowly increasing the dosage with CBD personally.
I tried the kind with almost no THC in it and felt a very slight improvement in anxiety at first. After stopping it for a while and then starting again I don't feel any improvement. I'm not sure why this is, maybe I should try increasing the dose, but thought I would share.
I also agree with JungHeart, placebo or not, if it makes you feel better that is a good thing.
Very glad it's helped you Aly. Glad I've been reminded about this too - I hear about things on the radio sometimes and then forget all about it, but that one sounded like it had a lot going for it. Might look into it myself.
Wow, CBD oil is like marijuana right? That's a good way to use it, in an e-cig. Probably it is healthier for use in people with asthma rather than straight up smoking it. I don't know, I never tired it but I used to date a guy who was smoking his e-cig or whatever and he smelled extra nice and arousing. He pulled it out when we were on a date and apologized to me for using it and I told him that it's okay. It might have calmed his nerves down, well I think anything that has to do with breathing and inhalation will calm your nerves down and relax you. Even better if it's a flavor you like. I read that we feel safe when we are eating and that chewing gum calms our nerves. So you should do anything that can calm your nerves and make you feel safe. That's why so many do yoga and breathing exercises. It helps even when smoking weed or tobacco. You're inhaling, you're breathing in and out, it relaxes and calms your nerves and you feel safe.
