Default Being in your 20's

Would anybody else agree that right now is the worst time to be in your 20's? I was always told that 20's was the best time of your life, I totally disagree. I think the only way being in your 20's is fun is if you're out ****ing up. In the 80's and 90's, pretty much everybody was ****ing up, at least a lot of people I know was. I'm still in college and looking for a job and it SUCKS! How are 20's fun?

I remember in the 90s seeing a lot of ppl in their 20s seeming like they had a lot of fun (I grew up by a college town). It was before the abundance of all this technology, so that's one major thing that differentiates the experience. Less fun today and more fun then? I don't have the experience to know.

Actually right after I graduated from college the recession hit. It was hard getting a job and didn't help my morale either. Back in the days people got work easier and had money for fun. Most of my friends right now are looking for work that doesn't involve being in a restaurant

It's more frowned upon today though.

it seems like there's more emphasis on getting an education/good career now. But I don't think that other stuff is looked down upon. Most of the 20-somethings I know do it.

I was ''****ing up'' before twenty, I think I've done enough. I do hate being 20 though, I would love to stay a teenager. I really hate growing up sometimes.

You have to be kidding... if anything, doing drugs and drinking is more acceptable than ever. People are a lot more open today than they were yesterday.

eh drugs and alcohol are nice, but I'd rather have a stable job and a place to live.

What sucks about being in your 20s is that you're pretty much still a kid; however, now that you are no longer a teen, you are looked at as an adult. Thus, you are expected to act like an adult, also.

I'm not mature enough to handle ****, but i have to.

Im hating my 20s so far. All my issues decided to come along during this age. Looking forward to my 30s though. Think that's my time to shine.

I recently saw a news report on tv about depression and anxiety amongst like 14-18 year olds..
The report opened with "They say they're among the best years of your life"..
I just sat there like "Pffft BOLLOCKS!"
