Hello I'm new,just like everyone else who posts here and honestly,I'm not very good with first impressions but here's a little about me.I am about to go into college next year,I'm going through a really stressful time in my life but I've had SA my whole life ( as in basically the day I stepped into kindergarten) I feel that mostly my SA has originated from school,but yeah this sort of thing is highly genetic with me so I have natural way of being very worried all the time and just uncomfortable and afraid,but I've gotten over the afraid part,I'm mostly just very uneasy. Although,despite this "condition" or whatever you would like to define it as,I love doing artistic things for example,I love acting,playing in orchestra,singing,dancing,sewing and designing,voice acting,and probably much more to be discovered. But I feel that SA has played a huge role in my life in very negative ways,see I have no friends and other people see me as very intelligent or very arrogant,and I always view myself as boring or incapable of being in a relationship,and usually when I do have friends they are very fair weathered.I really hate being friendless because I'm always subconsciously trying to be accepted and wanted,so I'm always putting on a show for others.I'm ranting haha,but I'd really like to get to know one of "my kind" for a change just to see what it would be like.

all that sounds very familiar. lol.
until i found this site - actually only a few days ago - i just thought it was me the wierd one with no REAL friends who is always awkward and inept in social situations and cant hold a proper conversation even though i've got a lot to say.
i think i used my art to hide and let it talk for me.
anyway, welcome to the group.

I love doing artistic stuff too! I especially love dancing because it's the only time I can be in front of a big group of people and not feel self conscious
