Default Newbie but not newbie to this disorder...

I haven't read but just a few entries on this forum.. haven't lurked ...I just know these are people who know what I have dealt with. I have been through therapy and many different prescriptions and the bad thing is when I started feeling "right" I stopped it all ..the meds ..the therapy. So 2 yrs later I'm right back to not even being able to leave the house unless I have the 2 places to go that I feel comfortable with.

I did read one posters story about having to do many things in a day and being empowered by that ...I totally get that feeling.Well at least I use to feel that way. My main problem these days is this...http://www.anxiety-counselor.com/fea...ginpublic.html... I thought this was all in my head and just me until I read this article. I can not write at all in public because of this I live in constant fear that my kid will call home sick from school and I will have to sign them out when I pick them up.

Luckily I have signed up to therapy again and the case worker that evaluated me also added a case manager to help me with daily stuff and to get me disability and she also added ptsd to my list of disabilities (not that ptsd is a lucky thing.... it was just the first time anyone has told me that)

Wow it's amazing how I can ramble on amongst strangers and my family hates to be bothered with it. Anyway this is me and glad I found you all.

Hello and welcome to SAS! I hope you will be able to share your thoughts, fears, and experiences with your fellow SA's. My name is Richard by the way.
