Social Anxiety Support

Hello all! I can not believe that I never thought of even looking for a forum until today! I have been suffering for anxiety disorder since about 13 years old. I wasnt properly diagnosed though until about 1 year ago and I am now 24. I always knew there was something wrong with me but I thought I was just "shy." Well I was put on medication but felt I was missing out on the highs and lows of life and recently stop taking me anti depressants. So my anxiety is back to full swing but I realize that medication was only covering up my core issues and was not going to be a long term solution for me. So here I am, back to square one of overcoming my anxiety. I am married and have a 2 year old boy and go to school full time to be a nurse. My anxiety is a daily struggle for me and on the worst days I almost feel like I am eating myself alive inside. I am sick of not living life to the fullest and I know that I am the only who can fix that. So I am happy to be here and begin my journey and learn from you all!!!!

It is amazing what children can do to you isnt it. One of my greatest fears is passing down my anxiety to him.
