Default Just wanted to say "hi"

Hi all - it's comforting to know that there are so many people out there who have experienced some of the things that I have. It is so easy to feel alone, especially when you feel like you can't explain your anxiety to others because they will not get it, or they will say that it is silly - you should get over it -

basically its nice to know that no one here will tell me to suck it up, and get over it.... I think if that was at all possible, through sheer will, I would have been able to do it 10 years ago...

T.

Welcome to the forums undecided

It is very easy to feel alone, but here there are plenty of people, its almost guaranteed you will find some who are struggling with what you are/do. I hope you find the website useful. I am still relatively new myself, but I have found it very helpful. I have made more progress the past month than I have in years on my own.

This is a very useful website.

You may meet some impatient, uninformed "sheer willpower" people here. Ignore them.

Willpower that's applied toward finding some sort of effective healing methodology works best.

Hi, and welcome to SAS!

I've only been here a couple months myself, and this site has been the best thing to happen to me. All those insane little things I thought were my unique hells turned out to be pretty common, and meeting people who share these experiences/thoughts/feelings is one of the single greatest things that can happen, just to know you're not alone. I hope you have the same experience I've been having.

Hi. I'm new here too. No one is ever truly alone, their conscience just tries to shadow their ability to ignore what they quite possibly have forgotten.

Hello and welcome.

I agree, I never realised how many people could have problems like this until I came across this forum.
