Social Anxiety Support

Hi everyone my name is Alissa. I have dealt with social anxiety and depression since I was about 12 years old but only found a name for what I was dealing with in 2004. That year I started getting help for my problems. In 2005 I had to quite my job and drop out of classes I was taking. I simply could not deal anymore and gave up on life. For the next few years I was in a deep depression I could not seem to pull my self out of. A few months ago I pulled my self together and really started working on my self. I have tried medication with little success but I'm in therapy and that is helping [she is the one who told me to try this] and I thought why not. I just have to remember to follow through and not to give up which are to things I'm great at lol.
