Social Anxiety Support

Hi everyone. I am new here and thought it best to pop in and say hi to all before I get carried away with posting anywhere else in the forum. I'm a female from British Columbia, Canada, who has suffered severe social anxiety for well over fifteen years now and I am still in the process of trying to find answers to help overcome it. Today, while browsing the net looking for anxiety related information, I was lucky enough to stumble upon this site and, after lurking for a short while and reading a little of "this and that", I realized that this place sounds just like something I need so...here I am to become a part of it...yay!

Anyway, I am going to go and check out some more of what there is here and get myself involved just as much as I can. I have to say that, after reading many of the previous posts from other members, I do feel as though I have found myself a place that I can sincerely call my "home away from home."
