Social Anxiety Support

I’m hoping to find some kind of support and communicate with people who have some understanding of what I’m going through. My family whom I have been reunited with since having to find somewhere to live (due to unemployment), well, they just do not understand although they try. Mostly they conspire against me to “toughen me up” to “bring me out of my shell” and so on. I try to tell them that I’m over 40 and if I wanted to come out of my shell I would have done so by now.
Anyway, I hope to relate to some of you here on this post site and would very much like to be a part a support group on line, or otherwise.
