Default GAD & Panic disorder

I am aware that i am in a social anxiety forum.. But i cant seem to find a forum for those suffering from just GAD & panic disorder.

I am very new to this medical condition of mine as well as opening up about it. Iam a 22yr old female.

Im currently not taking meds for my anxiety.. But i feel like i should start because lately my panic attacks have been really scary and uncontrollable for me. I feel like im living in a constant fear.

If anyone has any suggestions/tips to help me control my Panic attacks without taking medicine... or know of any forums i could check out, i would appreciate the feedback!

Welcome AlijahLee,

Meditation is always useful for anxiety disorders. It is by no means a miracle cure and takes a while to show results but it does help people realize that they are not their panic attacks.

If you have a therapist I'd ask them about it.
