Bars a such a waste.

One summer I probably found over $100 in cash just riding my bike around. I haven't been finding it as much lately. I used to almost expect to find it.

Thanks, and FYI, in case you guys think I'm trying to take the easy way out, guess what?, I have a job interview on Wednesday.

Does stuff like this only ever happen in America?!

The most money I have ever found was once, I found £10 on the side of a bus seat as well (like, on the side of it by the window), £5 on the floor at high school and then another time, £5 on a train seat and that's probably it.

Try looking at the side of the bus seat - you might strike lucky. My brother found £20 on a side of a bus once and then £10 another time.

I ended up with a giant box of Second Cup cookies this way. Karma bit me on the butt, though--the cookies tasted terrible!

seriously , the amount of work you need to put in to get 10 bucks or whatever lying around is way more than a minimum wage job.

if after you get the job you interview for , and you still dont have enough money, apply for a second job.

looking for money lying around doesnt sound too smart.
if you get too focussed on it, you might graduate to stealing.

I have to agree with Just Lurking in that finding money is just random luck. It's not likely you'll find it in the same place twice.

The most I've ever found was a fifty dollar bill on the ground outside of a car rental facility.

My mother and sister have both claimed that they've found twenty dollar bills on more than one occasion on the floor at the movie theater. I'm assuming it was during a weekend evening movie.

Well, I would hope no one made a career of finding money lying around.

I once found a $20 bill.

And when I went to pick it up, two idiots pulled it away on a string and started laughing.

I wish I were making this up.

I've found money in the bin before, of all places. And down the road from an ATM some money just blew over to me.. which was nice. lmao. You could go to a games room where you might find some coins on the floor. Not much but you can sometimes find a bit.

I've found a ten dollar bill twice... once in an elevator, and once in a parking lot. That's the most for me.

This really isn't "moral" but if you go to church and when the basket is being passed round...

ho ho ho, wow, um, yeah, I have to admit I laughed at that one

Um, I'm an aeithist, and I hate church, and I'm desperate for money, but i don't think I could ever do that-

Even if I was in a room all alone with that basket of money...I don't think I could do that-I'm not a saint, everybody has their price, but i doubt that even I could do that-it's just wrong, wronger than even snatching money from the ground that belongs to someone else

Sorry by the way Banzai if I put too much of a heavy twist on your funny post

a great place to find money is in bars, strip clubs.. when i used to work at a one. i'd find lots of $1,5, 20 and sometimes $50 dollar pills laying on the floor and sometimes you could find money in the ATM's.. one of the bartenders found $600 one night. another good place is right in front of stores. found $20 in front of best buy a few months ago and for loose change look at gas station that have those machines you use to can clean your car.

Parking lots! I found some cash this summer in the parking lot at work on one of the rare times that I didn't park in my usual area.

Another place I notice lots of cash on the ground is the pavement right under drive-thru windows. Seeing as staff probably go out and pick it up every so often, you'd have to be pretty ballsy to go and start grabbing it from right under their noses.

You could always go the nerdy route and get a metal detector. A man in the UK recently found treasure from the antiquities doing this in a farmer's field.
