Default What do you do for a living?? Do you like it??

Hello Again!! I wanted to post this, because i have been lately thinking that im not so crazy about my actual job. I have been on this same job for the past 3 and a half years and i don't know if it is the fear of something new that just makes me stay on it.
Well i work at a call center as a supervisor for the international customer service department of a major american based credit card company. Work rotative shifts, 6 days a week, 8 hours a day.

So what do you do??? and Do you like what you do???

Quality control for an AutoCAD-like program. I love the job, the responsibility gets to me sometimes, but I love what I do. I see changes and additions to what the program can do, and the times when "fixing" something causes something else to crash.

Keeping track of everything that goes one with it is fascinating.

I'm at Cambridge Uni, England and I'm studying Theology and Religious Studies. The course is ok but the amount of work is ridiculous! don't know what I'll do after, maybe teaching or psychology or social work...

I don't do anything. It has its perks.

Well, alright, I'm currently in college. It isn't so much 'rewarding' as it is 'screwing me financially.'

I am looking for a job...any job that doesn't involve lots of physical labor and/or trying to talk people into buying things. I have a useless college degree, which was fortunately paid for by my parents, so I'm not stuck with loans to pay back or anything. But it'd still be nice to get employed and earn some real $$.

I work mainly with the developmently disabled as an assistant to the Behavioral Psychologist, also I do work with some MI clients, but most are dd. I am getting more stressed regarding paperwork. The state keeps increasing our paperwork. They keep changing the rules on us. Also, we been getting lots of budget cuts over the last few years. If I had enough money I wouldn't work, but that isn't ever going to happen. I wish I could do something else, but what. This is the only thing I know. I don't mind the clients. I hate the paperwork, and also the office politics.

I've been a mechanic for almost 11 years. I work on everything from domestic and import cars and trucks to semi trucks and trailers. I do all types of work, ranging from air conditioning to engine and transmission rebuilding. Also brakes, suspension, custom exhaust work including pipe bending, electronics diagnostics, and mounting tires. Its hard and dirty physical labor and I work an average of 50 hours a week but most of the time I don't mind it.

I do nothing for a living. I'm currently living off a phat student loan which I never got around to spending while I was in college.

Time is running out though.

I'm sure I've said this before, but I want to get into photography, but I also know that it's damn hard work, and not exactly a goldmine unless you're prolific at it. (and good at dealing with people)

I don't really work to support myself (still live with parents) but I am a salesperson at a bakery. It's really, really boring and tedious. We do the same mind-numbing tasks every single day (there's a list of stuff we sign up to do) and it drives me mad. It's like some repeating nightmare.

I work for a double-glazing firm - and i hate it! But at the moment it's a case of 'better the devil you know'.

My brother and I are hoping to set up our own portrait photography business, but it's very hard work where SA is concerned.

I'm perpetually unemployed (no school nor work in 10 1/2 years).

I'm bored out of my ****ing mind!

I work at a music store right now. It's a pretty cool job but I don't see myself still working there two years from now. Hopefully I'll be done with college by then and I'll be able to do something with my degree.

Self-employed doing PHP stuff. In a way I love it, though on the other hand the lack of structured time encourages my laziness and I sometimes wish I had a job that involved meeting people (until, of course, I recall again how annoying people are). Perhaps the only real annoyance is that every time anyone has ever asked me what I do for a living they've been unable to understand my answer, and look at me like I'm talking in some foreign language. Also the pay isn't very good so far. But really there's nothing I'd rather be doing.
