I think i'd survive for a bit. I've used weapons before, i'm in reasonably good physical shape, i'm used to being on my own a lot so wouldn't go completely off the rails (for a few days at least lol), and i've had plenty of zombie related gaming and movie experience. I haven't read The Zombie Survival Guide though :/ (better add that one to the to-do list, just in case)

I have a hockey stick ... somewhere. I'm sure I could deal to my parents should they zombify

. Then I'd hole out in my home til daylight. Bash my way through any zombies left in the house and get in the car. Then realize I forgot my map book and bash my way back in. And then get back inside the car. Then I'd realize I probably could do with a radio and the laptop and cash to bribe people with and fooooood. So I'd have to go back in again ...

But then I'd realize, "Wait a sec, I'm all the way over here in wee 'ol New Zealand." Even the zombie virus wouldn't bother invading us.. But that would mean my parents who I'd bashed assuming they were zombies weren't zombies afterall. Hmm .."

If I remember right, I have a 56% chance of survivial according to this online test. Let me see if I can find it...

I'd do the whole "I Am Legend" thing, fortify the house and come out during the day to go zombie hunting

Fortunately I live in a small town, only 5000 people, so even if I take it easy I'd hope to finish them all off inside a week. And all those hours of Left 4 Dead would finally be useful

Every time I see a zombie movie I just keep thinking it doesn't seem worth staying alive to deal with that.

No that wouldn't work. Someone will get bitten and hide the fact from everyone. Then they'll go full zombie when everyone's asleep and decimate us. I'd love to see how zombies fare in the cold.
