Default rain, rain! Go Away

Raining here since last night and almost non-stop showers are still going and it's almost 2AM. Everything is soaked!

I know what you mean it's been raining here in Oklahoma since Friday! It rained on-off Friday but Saturday and today non-stop!! I hate when it rains all day long because i am not the type that likes to just sit around. Hey, but i wish it would go away too!

When it's been raining and cloudy for a week that it bothers me because then I feel lazy and won't do anything and I cannot afford to be lazy. I need the sunshine to wake me up in the morning and make me feel good about my day. One or two days of rain...fine. I'll feel relaxed and like I'm being cleansed or something...haha. Beyond that sucks.

The measurable rain has been lacking here lately.

We've had some great weather here lately, a little cloudy today though but still not a bad day outside.

You needed that rain down there, though. Well, I guess it's kind of late for it. I know there were crop losses.

It could rain every day here and I would never tire of it. Perfect weather, perhaps throw in some thunder and lightning too.

Rainy weather tends to put me into a wonderful mood, unless I have to sit through a day at work in wet clothing and flattened scruffy wet hair.

I'm torn as to whether I like a quiet contemplative rain better, or a loud passionate thunderstorm better - both have unique joys.

It's also nice, for me, to go out when it's raining and find that there are very few people out; I am able to feel more relaxed, and observe/absorb my surroundings more calmly than is typically the case.

Aw, I miss the Scottish weather! From my perspective, you are very fortunate. I was there earlier this year, and was so happy with the moodiness of the weather. Beautiful.

It seems Texans aren't accustomed to day+ periods of rain, at least ones in the north and west. That's why their trees are so pathetically short.
