This august, my cousin came from Mexico for a visit. He showed me the LG Chocolate phone he bought there and I just liked it. Since my contract with Verizon was done a few months back, I decided to buy the chocolate from them (this was when you could only buy it from the net or their corporate stores). On October, I was doing some laundry and completely forgot to check my pants pockets. The chocolate cell went through and entire wash cycle. I took the battery out and set the cell with the sunlight to see if that’ll help. A few hours later, it was working fine. The only problem it had was that I could not use the camera or record videos. On Thanksgiving, the cell just shut off by itself and I couldn’t get it to work anymore. I took the battery off and put it back on to see if that’ll work. Hours later, after the third time taking the battery off, it started working. Decided to check the camera and sure enough, the camera and vid recorder are working fine now. With all the features it has, this is one of the best cell phones I’ve bought. If youre looking to buy a new cell checkout LG’s Chocolate.

Im stuck on another 2 years of contract with my cell and by the time 2 years is up the cell phones will prolly wash your clothes.

The Chocolate sound pretty expensive. For an MP3 player, I have a Sony (it's orange and white from their sports line). It has, get this (for the computer geeks), a REMOVABLE "floppy disk" that holds 1 Gb of music. I don't even know how much space I have used up, but it holds about 70 songs right now!

I may be in the market for a "cellular telephone" one of these days. What is stuff about lengthy contracts? If that is true, I'd probably be better off with one of them pay-as-you-go phones.

(I think that is what they call 'em).

i got it without a contract. ive been with verizon for five years and they've been a good company to deal with

I've been with verizon for a year now and I think they suck. Next year when my contract is though I'll be switching to someone else.

ive heard a lot of people complaint about verizon. i cant see myself with another co though
