I'm a lonely guy. I treat myself to going to the movies and shop a lot and buy stuff I like or need. Yeah sounds like what Women do, but when you dont have a social life you have to get creative and spend some money to stay busy.

No, I'm a guy. Flowers are pointless and boring to me. I don't know what the big deal is. Is it the bright colors? I can buy crayons, they have many colors and I don't have to water them every day.

But flowers add "atmosphere" (crayons, not so much). Perhaps they have manly flowers?
With big thorns that resemble weapons?

LOL . It's not necessarily the bright colors since I love white flowers the most. Some flowers smell really good. And, since I seem to be indoors a lot, I love bringing something inside from the outside. I do this a lot in the Spring...buy lots of flowers, open the windows, let out the stale air, etc.

Oh pish posh, flowers aren't meant to entertain-heck that's what fighting and high speed chases are for!! They are meant to feed the soul and sweeten the day. Perhaps this thread should have been directed to women only??

This.

Well, not so much. I think some flowers are beautiful, but I don't particularly care for the mishmashed "bouquet" thing. I think yellow roses look beautiful.

But no, I've never bought myself flowers, because.... I don't really seem to need them. I read somewhere that women have a stronger sense of smell than men so maybe they are more sensitive to the fragrance of the flowers.
