Getting rid of blackheads

Anyone have any good methods? I'm trying to clear up the ones on my nose.

I'm going to try the toothpaste method first cause it's easy.

That Clean & Clear Morning Burst cleanser (the orange bottle) and using a gentle exfoliating pad seems to work well. Retin-A, too, but you need a rx for that.

Huh. I don't think they are blackheads actually. Looks like they're called sebaceous filaments and are completely normal (and impossible to get rid of)

....lol..seriously though I don't get many blackheads anymore but I used too, i'd just cut them off with a razor then dab strong antiseptic like Dettol undiluted onto it, mayby put a plaster on it for an hour or two....my mother always disapproved though..

And all our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death
Out, out, brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow,
A poor player that strut's and fret's his hour upon the stage and is heard no more,
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

^^ haha I use the same thing, they work well. They pull the black heads out, whereas scrubbing facial soap just cleans the surface of your skin.

I've given up on mine.

I've used those Biore strips, various scrubs, toothpaste, and acne medication. Nothing works. I may need to see a dermatologist.

And there's nothing wrong with me

I have found that most of the time when you have a persistent problem with your skin, the underlying cause is typically just the type of skin you have and there's probably not a lot you can really do about it.

I have always had acne to some degree. I was really self-conscious about it in school and tried everything that's supposed to work. Nothing did. If anything, it just made it worse. Nothing I have ever done has made a bit of difference other than simply leaving it alone and trying not to pick at it.

------------

I have seen one one billionth of everything there is to see and it was all the same.

Just buy some decent exfoliating face wash and exfoliating gloves.

For the guys, just give yourself a clean shave and then just power scrub until your face feels numb.

i use the neutrogena wave

In the end we only regret the chances we didn't take, the relationships we were afraid to have, and the decisions we waited too long to make.
