As a geographer I am rather embarassed to say no. I would like to sometime, but need to find myself a GPS first (lack of cash). I really like treasure too.

What happened to old fashioned orienteering? I love treasure hunts, but it would have to be the kind of hunt that doesn't require a GPS.

Yeah, I think those days are over. Techonology rules everything these days. You could go geocaching without a GPS, however. If you already know the general location, you can look at a satellite map to get your bearings. It makes it a lot tougher, because they're usually hidden fairly well and often in rough terrain.

Some are actually easy enough to find without a GPS. They have different ratings of difficulty.
