Default Do you have good posture?

I find myself slouching a lot without even noticing I'm doing it. I'm afraid I'm going to end up as one of those old men that have their heads looking at the ground when they walk, lol.

Do you have a different perception of people with good posture? Sometimes I'll look at someone who is sitting straight up and I'll get a negative view of them for some reason. I think maybe they are snobby or something like that. I don't know it's weird.

I slouch alot as well. I don't think I judge people on their posture though, I'm too worried about how they're judging me

I think having good posture makes you seem more confident, I can see how that might also be interpreted as arrogance though. I try my best to sit up straight, but I have a habit of slouching because it makes me feel less noticeable.

Also, slouching isn't going to make you a hunchback when you are older. Poor health and osteoporosis will. So drink lots of milk and you will be fine.

My posture is quite terrible as well, ask the people I met in Toronto and Montreal haha. I've been working on it though and it is not as bad as it used to be. I still catch myself slouching quite often though. I always used to feel like such an *** when I would stand up straight, the image didn't match my confidence level but it's time to put that thinking behind me.

Well that's good to know. I hate milk though. I guess I'll have to take those calcium tablets.

Mine is okay. It used to be pretty bad, but I played Wii Fit for like a month, it told me how to stand properly

I have terrible posture. I actually had a tutor take me aside once and comment on my posture. Naturally I couldn't sit comfortably the rest of the semester in that class because I felt like my posture was being assessed. I don't notice posture on other people; if I did it would probably improve my own!

I have a pretty bad posture too. It's kind of improving though

I'm very self-concious of the way I walk because in grade school I was made fun of for EVERYTHING, including the way I walk(ed)....I had a miserable childhood...anyway, when I'm out I try to stand up straight mainly cus of that

I slouch a lot too. I never notice how it looks though, I remember seeing myself in a picture taken in school which I didn't know was being taken of all the kids working, and I looked... well, like an unconfident hunch-back.

I usually try to straighten up at those moments when I realize I'm doing it, but for some reason it feels exhausting to try to stay straight. Is that weird?

I had that problem to, only it was in middle school. People would sometimes ask if I had a **** up my *** or something. I hated middle school, my life might be totally different if I never had to go there.

Yes I would say i have good posture. Only time my posture is bad is when It's late at night and I'm on the computer or watching TV as I like to be in a reclined position.

My posture is pretty bad. And I don't really notice the posture of other people.

My posture is awful when I'm sitting down but it's great when I stand up. I don't really worry my posture though and I don't notice other peoples' posture either unless it's really terrible.

I have great posture. I'm shorter than average so I tend not to slouch since that just makes things worse.

I didn't used to but I've got better. I had a bad back for years which has only recently got better, although I have a dull ache all the time.

Slouching is so much more comfortable.
