Default brilliant full moon

My mom was driving me to college this morning when we witnessed a breathtaking view of the moon. Since it was descending into the horizon it seemed larger than normal. It glowed brilliant golden, it was amazing...
I wish I had a camera... but I found some pics online.

for some reason the first thought that came into my head when i saw the first picture was I wonder what the first people living on earth though of the moon. They must have though it was a god in itself.

Yes, I noticed the lovely, full moon tonight. I have a digital camera but, unfortunately, it doesn't take very good distance shots. Love the pics you found, though.

Beautiful pics! I sat outside a bit last night and watched it. Made me wish I still had my camera.

Great pictures!! Thanks for posting! Full moons are nice, yet with them seems to come idiotic people! haha Maybe it's some kind of gravitational thing?

it's really awesome when the sun hasn't set yet and you can still see it. i kept my window open last night because it looked so amazing and it was so bright that i had to turn away from it to the other side.
