Smile 2009 New Year's Resolutions

What would you like to change about yourself over the course of the next year? Think realistically, set a goal (or goals), and list your New Year's Resolutions for 2009.

Win the lottery. Laugh all you want, but you'll see, hehe.

I just wanna get back down to 115-120 lbs. But I don't make resolutions either.

Get the f*ck out of Nova Scotia. But I've been wanting to do that for years.

It will happen, though. There's no reason for it not to. So that's not really a resolution. Hmm, I don't know. Become more comfortbale in my own skin? Yeah, something cliché like that.

I can't ever seem to stick to my resolutions, but oh well. Here it goes:

-Keep in touch with my boyfriend and keep our relationship in tact.
-Try to remain consistent with exercise for at least 2 months(instead of 2 weeks ). Especially when it helps me to sleep better! @.@; (I have one of the worst sleeping habits ever!)
-Try to make new... well newer friends while staying in contact with new friends. It's tough for me right now, but I think it will eventually get easier over time.
-Remain striving for good grades and improving my writing/art skills.
-Last thing... make some changes to my wardrobe. I don't feel that my current one suits me well.

- Stop declining everyone's invitations to places, even if it does mean certain death.
....I accidentally typed "curtain" death at first, which would be quite intriguing, actually, so I'm now adding "witnessing curtain death" to my list.

- Loosen up a little, for f**k's sake. Richard Nixon was more wild and untamed than I am.

-Get myself an in with a barrel-chested Russian gentleman who knows 500 ways to please a woman. (Most of this would involve cooking with olive oil and well-honed abilities in the fine art of the Shiatsu massage.. well, at least two would involve these skills).

-Farrah Fawcett hair.

-Renew my annual celebrity death pool. Yes, I'm looking at you, Jean Stapleton.

My resolutions are essentially the same things I promise myself every year, but this year, it will all be different. I may not accomplish any of my resolutions, but I will undoubtedly develop a crippling addiction on my road to failure, and, by god, that's something. Most likely (and unfortunately), this addiction will be to Gary Larson jokes, which I will invariably have to combat with crystal meth.

I don't have resolutions so much as I have goals.

My first goal is to write my dissertation.
My second goal is to have a torrid love affair, emphasis on "torrid."

Have a nice day,
Kelly

Smile 2009 New Year's Resolutions

Resolutions are good to make any time of the year, to make goals for the betterment and /or improvement on ones life and life’s objectives. It doesn’t have to be the New Year to make one but since it is, here are some of mine:

Self-Help:

- I received the Dr. Richards Tapes this year for Christmas and plan on completing them before the end of 2009 (hopefully within the next six to eight months).

- I own and plan on finishing reading two self-help books which I received as gifts in 2008. I have already began reading them.

Career:

- I have just recently restructured my business and am planning for a great year. According to my philosophy, "crisis equals opportunity," and this year I plan on taking advantage of every opportunity for success available which comes my way.

Anyone else have a "New Year's Resolution for 2009?"

It’s New Years Eve so there's not much time to get yours in. Good Luck and have a Happy New Year in 2009 everybody.

I don't make any new years resolutions. If I'm going to do something, I'll do it in my own good time; that way I'm more likely to stick to it.

My New Year's resolution is a big one. Really big. Almost impossible. But i can do it. (i think) with the help of CBT and meds (maybe).

Get ready.. This is big..

I'm going to....

get rid of.. my...

SOCIAL ANXIETY!!

i probably wont reach this goal.

Ok maybe i'll make more realistic goals. I will try to clear the blur in my head. I will try not to stare into space all the time and not have drool coming out of my mouth while im spacing out.

Skip school less and try to get good grades. Make at least one friend. Write more. Get a hobby.

I guess they aren't really resolutions, I don't wanna pressure myself, but goals of some kind.
