Smile Who's Your Favorite Rock Band?

As if one assumes everyone likes rock music in general. My favorite as of now:

Paramore

(Warning: If you look remotely like the lead singer Hayley Williams, it will be most likely I will have a crush on you)

After everything I think I will have to say Eric's Trip. They have had quite a large influence on me.

Still probably Nirvana, even though Kurt's been dead for 16 years.

I mean, I completely burned-out their albums 14 years ago, but their whole sound and philosophy is as good as it gets for me. Simple, raw, passionate, 'I'm a pu55y but f--- you' rock. I've always felt a kindred spirit with Kurt too, especially after hearing his interviews on that "About A Son" doco/film a few years back.

Sunset Rubdown.

Perhaps not now but sometime in the future I think, people will look back and cite them as the greatest band of our generation. Or maybe just I'll do that. Oh well.

Here they are performing in the back of a cab.

Right now? Danzig.

If you're including metal, then probably Megadeth.

My favorites change all of the time. Ask me next week and it'll be somebody else.

I dont do favorites--sorry I know, I am no fun.

I love so many bands I couldn't possibly narrow it down. My love is for many--ranging from The Doors, Early Stones (Paint it Black, Under My Thumb come to mind), Hendrix, Beatles, Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Sabbath, Judas Priest, Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Slayer, Testament, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, WASP, Alice in Chains...Oh my I could go on forever...

That is a few of the ROCK bands that I like. I also like Blues, Classical, lots of Motown and 60s music. Even some of the 50s. I also have developed a taste for swing and 40s music. I am extraordinarily versatile when it comes to music.

The Weakerthans, I think. I've had other favourites over the years but this is the band I generally return to.
