Default What are your favorite movie villains?

A memorable villain almost always makes a movie great. The scariest villains i've seen are:

Colonel Hans Landa in Inglorious Basterds
The Joker in The Dark Knight
Anton Chigurh in No Country for Old Men
Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs

I was actually rooting for the Joker and Anton Chigurh over the heroes lol

I've watched so many movies throughout the years that it's impossible to pick a movie villain without seeming cliche, there are some obvious choices, in no particular order.

#10. Alex Forrest- Fatal Attraction
#9. Max Cady-Cape fear
#8. Norman Bates- Psycho
#7. Khan- Star trex the wrath of Khan
#6. Freddy Krueger- A Nightmare on Elm Street
#5. Michael Myers-Halloween
#4. Jason-Friday the 13th.
#3. Darth Vader-The Empire Strikes Back
#2. Hannibal Lecter- Silence of the Lambs
#1. Dracula- (Vincent Price version)

It's hard to just pick a few. I adore a good villain.

Here's a few of my favorites, I suppose:

The Emperor, from Return of the Jedi

Lord Kuruku, from Unico in the Island of Magic

Salieri, from Amadeus

the baby, from Eraserhead

and, quite possibly the king of them all...Frank Booth, from Blue Velvet.

Penguin (Batman Returns)

Pennywise (It)

Hehehe! Damn right!

Raul Julia makes that film! It also features the single greatest performance of his career, which I will link to below:

...LIKE LIGHTNING!!!!!!!

Also, I think the Witch King of Angmar is one hell of a villain in the movie Return of The King. He hardly does anything but talk in a whispery voice, but he's just so intimidating. And he has a flaming sword, for god's sake! And rides around on a giant, black, flying serpent-thing.
