lol nope. the other day i over heard some guy in a video game store talking about how even crappy entertainment somehow deserves the consumers money because even though the product sucks there is still hard work that goes into it. at that point any fraction of guilt that i still had for downloading stuff for free had vanished and now torrent sites like the pirate bay and mininova will be the place i go for all my entertainment needs for the rest of my life.

Alot of bands offer free downloads on myspace, or if you buy a sync vitamin water you get a free download. Whats better than getting your drink on while jamming out to your favorite artist?

I love that site, found it a while ago. A well known dj started putting his tunes on there and is now quite successful.

I don't know about your library but ours has a decent selection of music & films so I often check & reserve things that I like, & then rip them to my comp & burn myself copies. Sometimes discs are scratched etc, but often a little windex does the trick & I can get a ton of the music I like for free this way without breaking any laws or paying. It's something to consider if your library has a good selection

I download from a Russian site called legalsounds.com. Internationally it's legal but Itunes tries to get it banned because their prices are a lot cheaper. Songs are .09 cents each and albums are $1.08! If you pay 50 you get like 100 songs for free.

Unfortunately, I do not own an "iPod"... can one burn regular CDs from this site, or do I need special MP3 ones? Sorry if this is a silly question, I'm technology challenged.
