College football? Soooo lame. I just can't get into a sport where the teams who make the championship game are voted in. Don't you think there should be a playoff system? I might watch if there was one. Who is your team? According to the voters, USC is the best.

Changing the parameters are you? Will it be the top 25 next week? After they each have two or three losses, they'll be lucky if there are any of them left in the top ten.

Yeah, the Pac-10 is the worst I have ever seen it. I suspect that all the good prospects are choosing to go to USC while leaving nothing for the rest of the conference. For example, USC has five backs who could play first string on most teams.

USC didn't look too good this past week. People always overrate the conference of their choice. Georgia was as overrated as OSU. Georgia almost lost to South Carolina, and they'll lose at least one more, maybe two more, before this season is over.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again -- there should be no preseason polls and no polls of any kind before the fourth week of the season at the earliest. Poll voters spend the rest of the season trying to justify their preseason picks, even after they've been proven to be no more knowledgeable than the rest of us.

USC has a problem getting motivated for weak opponents. Believe me, I am no USC fan, but I feel very confident in saying that no one is going to beat them if they are up for the game.

Yes to that. Or at least a plus two which would mean the top 4 ranked teams have a playoff. #1 versus #4 and #2 versus #3 and then the final game after that.

That's true. They also have to play such dynamos like North Texas and Louisiana Lafayette. Name one tough team that LSU is playing outside of their conference.

USC played Virginia and Ohio State. Virginia isnt very good this year but at least they were willing to sign them up a couple of years beforehand when they were good. Georgia is the only team in the SEC that scheduled a difficult team or two outside of conference that I know of.

Arkansas played USC in 2006, first game. Played Texas this year. I suspect if USC had LSU, Alabama, Georgia, Auburn and Florida on its schedule they wouldn't be signing up to play Texas, or Arkansas for that matter.

Speaking of Texas, props to the Big 12 for making up the rest of the top 20.

I think the Big 12 is better than SEC and Pac-10 and every other division in college football this year.

As good anyway. They have the same problem the SEC does but their ranked teams are just now starting to play each other.
