Default Lakers [potential] big three vs Heat's big three...who wins?

I am sure by now you heard the trade rumors of Chris Paul and Dwight Howard potentially going to the Lakers (it's all over ESPN). Could imagine both teams meeting in the Finals? That would be soo bauce.

Kobe - CP3 - Howard

vs

Wade - LeBron - Bosh

which team wins?

I'd go with Kobe-CP3-Howard

Howard would dominate the boards,CP3 would run rings around their PG and Kobe has been there done that and wouldn't choke like LBJ

Not even close. Whatever ring-chasing veteran minimum C and PG the Heat pick up are going to get totally abused by CP3 and Dwight. Kobe will instill that ridiculous work ethic and killer instinct on CP3 and Dwight. It's basically Shaq and Kobe again except with arguably the best PG in the league.

BUT, I don't think they'll be able to get both. As of right now even the CP3 trade is getting blocked by Stern.

Too bad there were such bad blood between shaq and kobe. They were the best two duo in basketball. I would rate them higher than jordan and pippen. If they stuck together perhaps they would have won 8 titles.

They got whipped in the finals by a team with possibly no hall of famers:

I'd say the Heat still. If Dwight gets fouls called on him like no tomarrow,
like against the bobcats DJ augastin went to the cup and through the ball up
then grabbed DH's arm and pulled them both down. Stuff like that was how he was in foul trouble that series. My thoughts of the deciding factors

Wade and Bron get alot of fouls.../ Kobe cant stay infront of Wade.../
Wade, Lebron, Battier can decently guard Kobe..../
Chris Pual will have his way...../ Dwight will get 20,15 pending on foul trouble, Kobe sharing shots..../ Kobe will get his, good shooting or bad...../ Lebron as a free night/
comes down to Dwights ability,(how the game is ref'ed) to stay in the game while contesting Lebron and Wade at the rim who will probably have every possesion to get there.. Throw in Bosh's efficiency as an X factor

I just want to see Lebron cry again this season when his team loses again in the finals.

In the finals Noooo. I don't want them to beat the Bulls or Celtics to get there again...

Like, an actual model.

I am a Detroit fan, and was definitely a fan in 04 when they " beat " the Lakers. But, honestly, in my opinion, the only reason LA lost that series is because Kobe and Shaq obviously hated each other and definitely were not clicking at all. I would have been far more impressed if Detroit would have beat the Spurs the following year in the 05 Finals - because they would have actually had to earn that one.

Glad the Paul trade didn't go through. I don't want to see all the talent concentrated on 2 bigmarket teams. Let someone else have a chance.
