Default Greatest QB of All Time

A better question than the short cut question posed elsewhere.

I'd have a hard time picking one, but it would be from the following group:

Bart Starr, Johnny Unitas, and Joe Montana.

And unlike some who accused me of being a homer simply for disagreeing with the premise of his question, Otto Graham would probably make my top 10-15 but not the top 5.

Out of those three I'd have to choose Joe Montana, he's the only one of them I ever got to see play.

im not much of a football person...

but i do have a question...is eli manning really that good??...because people seem to love him now that he won the superbowl, but i honestly think that game was complete luck and defense won it for the giants...i just want to ask this because im not really to fond of football, i think it can be fun to play, but i dont watch it...and, another reason i ask is because im all basketball, and i notice things in basketball that somebody who doesnt love the sport or know much about it would notice...just curious...

He's average. Not deserving of being drafted number one overall. If he had a different last name he would have went later on. It wasn't luck that one the superbowl, it was defense. The defense was insane and knocked Brady around like a pinata. Let me just say this the Giants have to thank the Eagles because thier defensive coordiantor in previous years and brought the scheme to New York.

Eli's just getting the hype now because he won a Super Bowl and he plays in NY. If he won a Super Bowl in a smaller market, the media would be talking about how the team won despite having a mediocre quarterback. He's probably the third-best QB in his family, behind his brother and father.

I don't know if (to me) the best quarterback ever is playing right now.
I would have to say Joe Montana (Notre Dame grad ).

New England has had one of the best teams ever, but I don't know that I'd put Tom at the top of the QB list.

Is "the GOAT" a compliment?
