I took a (foil) fencing class in college to snag my final credit for my associates degree... it turned out to be a lot of fun. I'm terrible at it because I'm slow and have a short reach and step, but I didn't really care. The school I'm going to get my bachelor's at also has a fencing club, and I'm excited at the thought of getting back into it. Besides, you get to play with swords. How awesome is that?

I've thought about it... I genuinely have... but after trying a fencing sword at a renaissance festival and finding I could barely lift it, I decided to go for strength training first
(Embarassing!) Gotta shake off this scrawny computer nerd physique... making progress... -Ryan |
