Run? More like intelligently dodge, reset, and pick shots. Condit had an excellent performance. Going into the fight I was rooting for Diaz but as the fight wore on Condit impressed me and I was glad he won. Condit was throwing strikes to finish the fight. Did you not see his kick to the face or the many spinning back fists he threw (despite them being unsuccessful they were quite deadly)?

Diaz whined about how Condit wasn't willing to just stay against the cage and let him tee off on him. It's called being a dynamic fighter and learning to adjust to your opponent's game plan. Something Diaz wasn't able to do. Condit won in my opinion and I'm tired of these moron fans booing. The only person who deserved to be booed was KOS for keeping his hands in Pierce's face the whole night. Such a dirty and cheap move.

sure, he threw out some random strikes there, and landed a few pretty looking kicks to the face, but none of them did much to diaz, and condit was obviously not looking to follow it up and looking for a finish of any sort. in fact, after any combo, he would start backing up immediately like so:

like i said, who you think won is all just opinion at this point. it's clearly split down the middle from both viewers to the people that are professionally affiliated with the sport.

none of it matters now since the rematch looks to be a go.

Real dumb. Your job is to fight and test clean. Why deliberately screw up opportunities set up for you? I guess the chronic out in Stockton is quite good.

No way!!! Diaz can still put on some amazing fights. The 2 I wanna see besides GSP/Diaz is Diaz vs Koshcheck or Alve. A fight with Thiago Alves would be awesome because it would be a war. Alves has probably the best stand up at welterweight so I'd love to see how it compares to Diaz' boxing. And a Koshchek fight would be entertaining as hell as long they trash talk each other. Can you imagine Diaz trash talking Kos on the feet then Kos taking Diaz down and whispering crap in his ear like he did to Paul Daly? That would be too epic!!!

As for Nick getting caught with weed, nothing new there, he is who he is and all his antics is what makes him entertaining.

He doesn't hide the fact that he smokes weed. His method of cleansing himself failed this time. It's a dumb rule to test for weed. It doesn't help his performance in anyway. Fighters are allowed to take pain meds though? The problem here is the stupidity of the rule. He has a prescription to smoke weed. He won that fight. rounds 1,2,3 and prolly even 5

this 100%. he's got a legal california medical mj card, so he's smoking it legally! and the test doesn't show you when exactly he smoked. he could've smoked a month before and still get caught. the PED rules set up by the NSAC don't make any sense and i agree, they shouldn't even be testing for MJ IMO.

1, 2, 5. DIAZ.

whatevers though, he deserves some time off, and i'm sure he'll be back after some time off more motivated than ever.
