Default Buhrle.Perfect.Yes

I love feats like this, even if I don't care for the team

I'm the same. I follow Buhrle a bit because he's from the area. Sounds like DeWayne Wise made a great catch in the 9th.

He did! It was a rob of a home run in the most literal sense. He owes Wise a steak dinner, for sure.

Just saw the catch. I'd say Buhrle owes him big.

Am I right that there have been only 18 perfect games? Quite an accomplishment and Wise gets a piece of it. Very cool.

Maybe the coolest thing about all this is the umpire for this game was also the umpire when Buehrle threw a no-hitter a few seasons ago...what are the odds?

You know what's funny? I remember Randy Johnson's perfect game in 2004 very well... I missed it. I was sitting there watching it for about 3 innings and seeing how well Johnson was throwing, but, I went over to talk to my grandma for a while and ended up missing the rest of the game. Before I left, I told myself that Johnson is throwing so well, it could be a no-hitter.... I about kicked myself for missing that one.
