I started playing disc golf this summer and you're right, it is the best sport! I've never played alone, though. I think it's much more fun to play with friends.

hi mike =]
I think running alone in a nice, calm, cool trail is the best. (bring a cell phone though, in case of emergencies!) |

The best sport imo to do alone is to go for a nature hike with a close friend.... but bring a knapsack with you with something that makes a sound like a bell and don't forget the sunscreen or bug repellent

Sounds fun... I want to try it. I used to play ultimate regularly so I'm used to throwing frisbees.

if you want to start the easiest thing to do is buy a disc off of ebay...search for disc golf discs or something of the sort and pick one...sometimes you can buy a whole pack of used ones for really cheap. After it comes in the mail go here http://www.pdga.com/course/index.php to find a course in your area. Then go out and see what its like! Also http://www.discgolftv.com/ has a lot of pro videos so you can check that site out first.

I actually enjoy baseball. If you hit well enough, nobody cares if you're quiet. It's like extra motivation for me to excel. I suppose that's true for any sport though.

I never got the ball. All I did was rebound the ball and pass it to the perky ball hogging point guard. When people played and rotate the ball around, I am like Ben Wallace and just stand around and wait to go back to play D. LOL I am always the only one hustling trying to stop the fastbreak. I loved basketball but I hated playing it most of the time. |
