Default half an earwig

I made myself a hot chocolate with my froth machine thingy. I used some vittoria brand chocolate, I'm awful for having things for eons in my pantry. I was enjoying my hot choc and something was crunchy, so of course I'm crunching away, thinking it was undissolved chocolate. To my horror it was half an earwig. I just can't believe I was chewing an earwig. I am mortified.

It really didn't taste like I thought an earwig would. Tasted better than it looked, when I popped it out of my mouth. He may have been dead awhile from inhaling too much chocolate powder, If he were alive I would have had a mammoth panic attack, they have little pincers either on their butt or on their head. This is gruesome.

I have a ton of earwigs in my house. I've stopped trying to get rid of them. I'm sure I've eaten parts of them and never even known it . It hasn't had any ill effect on me, so I'm sure you'll be fine.
