Default can you handle alcohol anymore?

When I socialize, I usually like mixed drinks, a hard liquor and then something with a little carbonation, like a gin and tonic or a rum and coke. I can down three or four of these (not often haha) and either feel nothing or just get a headache, or get confused and irritated. Lol, I no longer get that relaxed feeling from alcohol. Then I feel dehydrated the next morning so it hardly seems worth it.

I still get a relaxed feeling from alcohol, esp wine. Wine is fast becoming my drink of choice, its a much more civilized drink. I still like beer but I would rather pour a glass of a good cabarnet or pinot anytime.

I used to drink alcohol to be able to socialize when I was younger, and it took a heck of a lot to relax me. Since I don't really socialize anymore, I rarely drink. I've never liked it as a beverage.

I don't like beer. I'm allergic to wine so I drink about 1/2 glass, same with wine coolers. I get very drunk very quickly. Never drank enough to develop tolerance.

I certainly can't drink like I use to nor would I want to lol. I drink a couple beers once in a while now and that's good enough for me.

Alcohol still does me up fine, Been drinking on and off for a few years now, I find that the more I drink of a certain thing the more my tolerance builds up, thats why I rotate what I drink.

I no longer drink spirits or wine's. I'll usually stick to beer's, cider and mild liqours.

The "anymore" part is what throws me. I've never had much capacity, except for a few months away at school when I drank almost daily to quell my SA stuff. I shared a bottle of wine with my SO last summer and shocked my daughters who couldn't remember ever having seen me drink. Then I bought a 6 pack of beer around Christmas time, and there are 4 beers left. And my son drank one.

I never enjoyed the taste of alcohol. I can't remember ever feeling more relaxed or less anxious the few times I did. So I was never tempted to drink more. And I close to never socialized.

Nowadays I sometimes enjoy a glass of cream, herbal liqueur or sparkling wine but that's about it.

It depends. Sometimes I drink but don't get drunk. Other times I get a buzz from a single beer.

I bought a six pack of beer a few days ago and it was the first I had bought in ages. My son was gone for the weekend and I only drink when I absolutely have zero responsibilities and don't plan to go anywhere. Well, long story short - I could only drink 2 and I was ready to go to bed... how crazy is that lol... and they were Bud Light Lime. They tasted good with nachos though lol. OH, I was alone at the time... what else is new... hmmm....

It's Amber Bach. There are still 4 left, although I think I feel a crazy moment coming on and I might just knock off 25% of that supply in one binge.

I'd take one of those - that is one of my favorites... I only bought the Bud Light Lime because I was having nachos with TV and had been wanting to try them out.

nope...all I get is a hangover. I do enjoy relaxing and I've heard from reliable sources that there is another widely available substance that does the trick without the hangover. Of course, that's just what I've heard and I would never endorse such activity. :-)

I haven't taken a drink in over 10 years, so i probably couldn't handle a lot of alcohol. I don't want to have to handle it anymore anyway.

that substance, along with a few glasses of hard liquor gave me a pretty good buzz as a kid
I actually never had one without the other.
