Social Anxiety Support

I was talking to this girl in my biology class who said she was going to withdraw from the course. she said that she was nervous about presenting, and etc. i told her that we all get nervous and its no big deal. She said, well i have trouble with public speaking. you seem very social, and like you love to talk to people.

has anyone else on this site been told they seem like a social person?

Yeah once I get to actually know someone.

Im horrible for starting convos and keeping convos going with new people. But if they are able to keep it going, and we become friends and I get to know the person I have been told I talk too much sometimes lol.

The closest thing i've gotten to that was a "you seem so relaxed." That was one of the best compliments i ever got.

Yes, actually. Alot of the people that I volunteer with simply laugh when I say I am introverted and shy.

Yeah I get that a lot recently since I've been trying to break out of my shell. Eventually I get nervous or think I'm saying something dumb so I shut up.
