Default school sucks

it does, I have a C in my ge 101 class (80%), I don't know how when I do almost perfect if anything, I don't see how I could have less than a 90%. Psychology test coming up and this class sucks and is the most boring class I have ever had, and its one of those where your whole grade is made up of 4 tests and you take notes everyday. Math also sucks, got a 48% on my last test, good news is she drops one test for the final grade and its gotten easier since then, still make stupid mistakes no matter how hard I try. I hate this, sometimes I just wanna quite. I don't even work and its seems to take all I have to do decent this semester, I don't know where all the difficulty and stress came from, I am still in basic required courses so its not like its because I entered a higher level, I could have taken many of these my first semester if I wanted, the only class I am taking that gets increasing hard each semester is math, which I got one more left.

For maths, I found that by sitting by myself and trying to work out the answers by myself, I understood it far better than any teacher could have taught me so perhaps you could try that approach.

As for psychology, yes I agree with you - it's a really boring subject when taught so I have no advice for you except to perhaps, do some casual reading as the subject itself is quite interesting.

Have you gone home and done some studying in your own time by yourself? Gotten extra help from your teachers?

I know the feeling. I am working my butt off to redeem my class rank and get back to the top 10% of my class. I don't know how all these other people are working 15-20 hours per week, having a social life, and still getting stellar grades. To get the same grades, my life consists of classes, eat, study, sleep, repeat.

I am mostly angry about the C in GE101, thats an intro to college class. It is super easy, I do all the work, have got A's on all test/and quizes except 1 which I messed up on, got a B on my midterm project, have done all my HW and journal entry's and got good grades on them.

Apparently that messed up test/quiz brought down my average for the test category, and I automatically loose 10% because I don't talk. You see in this class participation doesn't mean doing what your told, its talking in class(volutarily). I obviously won't do that so I will never be about to do better than a B as its 10% of the grade.
