I did end up approaching the guy in front of 2 of his friends. He had tried to say hi to me like I hadn't heard what he said so I called him on it. And he made me look like a fool. He said I was being paranoid and crazy, not at all owning up to his lie of course. At that particular school I was already an outcast (not a lonely one - I hung out with other outcasts) and now THAT!? I was just a freshman and hadn't even moved to this state any more than a few months prior. When I changed schools (we moved to a bigger house) I decided to lay low as much as possible, and I stopped being interested in guys, because I didn't want to give anyone a reason to bring me down. I was wondering if any other students here had experiences like that...one where a rumor went around about them?
