The best time to watch is suppose to be at 1am or before dawn.

Yes, the "Orionids"... guess they're the residue from the tail of Halley's comet. Any of you 30 somethings remember when it came through? I was like 7, I think. Roughly another 50 years to go before the next sighting.

Sweet! I get to enjoy a meteor shower without the annoyance of mosquitoes. It was a big problem when I was watching the Perseid meteor shower last year (too cloudy this year). It looks like I'll get a few more opportunities to view this one before Oct. 27. Thanks for reminding me. Sadly, the 21st is the peak. My parents might think I'm crazy but... *bundles up in warm clothing and sneaks outdoors*

stood outside last night for a half hour and saw a few

one lit up part of the sky and you could see the trail of it burning up. was pretty awesome

that was the first time i actually saw a meteor shower

No, it was too cloudy.

It wouldn't matter anyways, all the street lights wash out the stars around here. Damn light pollution.

yeah it was to cloudy here to, couldnt see anything.
