Default If my Virus Scan finds a Trojan on my computer

This just happened to me and it say its quarintined. Do I have to do anything else and is my computer safe now?

Nope, you should be ok now as the anti-virus has removed and isolated the file from your computer and put it into a special folder or virus vault in the case of AVG.

Nothing else unless you want to empty the virus vault. Most programs give you the option to do so but it is not really required as the virus is isolated and cannot harm your computer anymore.

yep, the anti virus shoved the virus in a padded cell and he's stuck there for good. Relieve it of it's misery by deleting it, if it makes you feel better.

Your anti-virus software quarantined the virus.

In other words, the virus came up to the door of your computer, knocked, tried to come in, but then got cyber-pimp-slapped and kicked to the quarantine zone.
