Default Getting rid of old, deleted files from Windows Media Player

My younger sister uses Windows Media Player. There are so many old songs that come up displayed but are long gone. How do I get rid of them without going through each one and deleting it? I know there has to be a convenient way to get rid of these dead files. It's kind of silly for her to have to scroll through all of that junk.

I'm guessing here, but it's probably similar to iTunes and you need to rebuild your library. Just delete your existing library and then import a new one by pointing WMP to the folder where your mp3's are. Again I'm not sure since I don't use WMP.
