For some reason the cable that connects my computer to my MP3 player won't work. The thing is, the USB slot works perfectly with other devices. Does anyone have any suggestions for this problem? Is there something wrong with the MP3 player or the cable itself? I remember a while back a pop up came about installing the MP3 player to the computer but I foolishly closed it and now the pop up won't come back whenever I plug it in. What do you think I should do?

Have you tried a different USB port and/or rebooting your computer?
